The Jigawa State Government has today empowered a unit of okada riders with 41 units of Qlink 150 motor cycles which are to be used for commercial purposes.
The total cost of the motor cycles is N6,285,000.00K, which the Government subsidized 35% on cost to the unit whom are to pay 65% on cost back to the Government coppers in 66 weeks.
The motor cycles were distributed by the Special Assistant on Economic Empowerment Muhammad Sheikh Mujaddadi together with personnel of the Directorate of Economic Empowerment to the beneficiaries.
The S A on behalf of the state Government called on the group to utilize the motor cycles and repay the Government back as scheduled and agreed upon so that others will benefit with the revolving loan.
